About us
South MS Light Aircraft is the perfect place to take your RFSC iRMT training. We limit our class sizes to 10 participants and have a brand new class room and hands on training area. While having all the latest training features like big screen TV and wireless internet, we haven’t lost touch of our roots. We have RV spots with electricity and water. For those flying in, we have a 3000″ grass strip (identifier 22MS) and there is plenty of room to camp under the wings.
Lucedale is close by with hotels and restaurants. We offer free shuttle service.
Ronnie Smith is a RFSC iRMT Instructor in the following specialties: 2 Stroke Maintenance, 912 Service and 912 Maintenance. He is also a certified A&P and holds an Overhaul Specialty, the highest RFSC iRMT rating. He has over 25 years experience in Rotax® Aircraft Engine maintenance and installation. Ronnie is also an avid aircraft builder, having just completed a RANS S7S (Miss D), his 8th aircraft.
